Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh on April 4 received Romanian Ambassador to Viet Nam Dumitru Olaru who is ending his term in Viet Nam.
At the receiption, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh expressed his pleasure about the development of the traditional ties between Viet Nam and Romania in various fields, particularly in such areas as culture, sports and tourism during the ambassador’s term of office in the country. He hoped the Romanian diplomat will continue supporting the two countries’ relations.
Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has always actively coordinated in organising the culture, sports and tourism activities, to raise the friendship between Vietnam - Romania. Meanwhile, the two sides have gained some positive results in culture and tourism areas, but sports have not been placed at the same height.
For his part, Ambassador Dumitru Olaru affirmed that Romania highly valued Vietnam’s achievements in its national construction and development and Vietnam is always a trustful friend and good partner of Romania.
He said that Vietnam has left deep impressions in his mind during his term of office in Vietnam and he also expressed his wish to impulse cooperation between the two countries.
